You know, your animations inspired me doing a Pikachu and Raichu one, so thanks! Yours are always fun to watch, and now I'm even more curious to see what you'll come up for to Pikachu and Raichu. xP I have no experience with flash though and did it the hard, hard way. Do you take long to finish a piece like this? What tool you prefer using to draw, and how to paint things with bucket tool without having a contour to it? Keep going, man, that's some cool accomplishment, animating 'em all.
Wow, hey thanks so much, hearing all that makes me really happy Im also excited about getting more of these done, and I'm glad you're looking forward to them!
As far as these animations go, I make them all in ToonBoom (I believe you've heard of it ) I had a class in college that focused pretty much entirely in it, so I'm really well versed. That being said, I'm not too familiar with Flash (anymore atleast, knew a bit back in school but it's all left me now XD)
Anyways, thanks for the nice comment again, I really appreciate it and all the support
So I hate to advertise on your wonderful deviation but....
Do you think you'd like to join a pokemon roleplay group? Well, I hope so! Here at the Pokemon University, we are desperate for new students and staff! Do you want to learn the ways of pokemon? Or even teach your own class? Please do join! Join requests are accepted automatically but to roleplay, you will have to note the group saying whether you'd like to roleplay as student or staff and why! Also, please include whether you'd like to type or skype! You can choose to show you video, or just use your voice in these skype calls. You don't have to go to that many classes if you choose not to, the limit is two a month. And they are fun and pokemon related! Romance, action, gore, magic! Whatever you'd like! You can fall in love, train pokemon, cause mischief, set up your own evil team, even sleep in class! You will be able to receive a pokemon as soon as you are accepted to join! Please do join, we will be expecting you!
Thank you! Really appreciate your nice comment As far as my process goes, I usually will sketch out the key frames first. The key frames are the major poses in the animation, with Venusaur those would be the first standing pose, the two stomps, the charge pose, the firing pose and the last standing pose. Then I work on "tweens" which are the drawings that come between each of the poses in order to show movement.
And then coloring and stuff is last ofcourse. Its kinda difficult to explain in words, maybe I'll do a tutorial or something down the line, hope this was helpful and thanks again
